7/20/2005 - Weaver and Tidwell’s Brian Williamson Named President of Real Estate Financial Executives Associates
DALLAS-FORT WORTH, Texas -- Brian Williamson, CPA, of Weaver and Tidwell, LLP, has been named president of the real estate industry organization, Real Estate Financial Executives Associates (REFEA). With offices in Dallas and Fort Worth, Weaver and Tidwell is ranked by Practical Accountant magazine as the Southwest’s largest regional independent accounting firm.
A tax partner and director of real estate services, Williamson holds more than 30 years of audit, tax and consulting experience. He joined Weaver and Tidwell in 2004 after having served as tax partner with two national CPA firms and founding his own firm in the late 1980’s.
Williamson earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Texas at Austin, and a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in taxation from the University of North Texas.
REFEA strives to provide executives and those serving the commercial real estate financial community in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area with a networking and learning environment. As president of REFEA, Williamson will supervise and control all business and affairs of the association for a one year term.
