Firm’s Risk Advisory Services Group Continues to Grow, Thrive

DALLAS-FORT WORTH, TEXAS (May 23, 2007) – Larry Montoux, CISSP, CISA, has joined Weaver and Tidwell, L.L.P. as IT audit manager within the firm’s Risk Advisory Services group. With offices in Dallas, Fort Worth and Houston, Weaver and Tidwell is ranked by Practical Accountant magazine as the Southwest’s largest regional independent accounting firm.

Montoux has more than 15 years experience in information security, IT Audit, ERP application integration and controls, data extraction/analysis, operational risk management, fraud investigation, project management and technical writing. He serves financial, banking and retail clients that require IT Audit, compliance, quality assurance, strategic planning and internal customer support services.

Montoux is a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association and the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of North Texas.

Weaver and Tidwell’s Risk Advisory Services group has grown to 26 professionals in three markets with significant growth in the energy, distribution and banking markets as well as the public sector. The group provides services such as internal audit, IT audit, SAS 70, fraud prevention, Sarbanes Oxley compliance, quality assurance reviews (QAR) and consulting.
