6/29/2007 - Weaver and Tidwell Recognized for Excellence With Five Association for Accounting Marketing Achievement Awards
DALLAS-FORT WORTH, TEXAS (June 29, 2007) – Weaver and Tidwell, L.L.P., the Southwest’s largest regional independent accounting firm, has been recognized for marketing excellence by the Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM).
The firm earned AAM Marketing Achievement Awards in five categories of competition – “Direct Mail Campaign Mailing,” “Electronic Newsletters,” “Niche-Building Campaign,” “Sales Presentations/Proposals” and “Advertising-Series Print.” Weaver and Tidwell has earned 11 AAM awards during the past four years.
“Marketing within the accounting industry is steadily growing in terms of creativity and impact,” said René Stranghoner, Weaver and Tidwell’s director of practice growth. “Our firm’s investment in a robust marketing program has benefited us immensely, and we are delighted to be recognized again by AAM.”
The AAM Marketing Achievement Awards, presented last week at the 18th Annual AAM Conference in Savannah, Ga., are presented in recognition of outstanding achievements in the areas of accounting communications, marketing and professional services. Accounting firms from all over the United States and Canada competed in two divisions - under $15 million in revenues and over $15 million in revenues. A panel of judges including professionals in the advertising, consulting and marketing fields reviewed nearly 200 entries submitted in 35 categories of competition.
AAM is the only association in the country formed specifically to address the growing marketing needs of public accounting firms. The members are comprised of marketing professionals, CPAs and consultants, vendors, educators and students who seek to expand the business of public accounting.
